Public department for supplying ships and airplanes :
Public department for supplying ships and airplanes specializes in meeting the needs of the republican airports of jet fuel product (jet A1) and fuel oil and diesel fuel product to supply tankers to ports of the Republic in accordance with standard specifications which is applicable in this regard by the local production of the republican labs or by import via ports of Suez, Alexandria and portsaid.
1- Airplane supply(Jet) :
The department Supply needs of the Cairo Airport of (jet A1) through pipelines from storages in Mostorod area which are daily produced of Cairo lab for Oil refining, ELAB and MIDOR.
The needs of Republican airports are being provided by container vehicles from Misr Petroleum coopetrol storages in Alexandri, Suez and Assiut
2- Ship supply(Bunker):
The department Supply needs of Ships of the product (Marine diesel with its two types of 380 and 180) and fuel oil are being provided in accordance to standard specifications by the local production of Suez and Nasr labs or by import to Nasr lab and then to the warehouses of marketing companies which are supplying ships on the high seas.
Asphalt department :
All country sectors of asphalt products are being supplied by the asphalt department through the local production in Nasr, Alexandria, Suez and Al Amriya labs or through import in Alexandria port.
Revise the documents submitted by the companies and identify eligible for the disbursement of Bitumen product in accordance with the assays and orders backing from the competent authorities and follow up of client shares and withdrawals are being done by two of the marketing companies (Misr Petroleum and Coopetrol).
Oil department :
Set the annual plan for lube oil, additives and packaged oils for the marketing companies under the EGPC authority and programming the plan monthly to distibute the available quantities from the refinery production (AlAmriya, Suez, Alexandria and Amoc) on marketing companies (Misr, Copetrol, Exxonmobil, Chevron, Petromin, Total, Libya Oil, ElNile, Emaraat, Taqa) in addition to the distribution of particular kinds of oils for companies (ACPA, ASPEC and FOX).
